At our Regular meeting on Thursday, February 12th, I was absent enjoying my first vacation with my wife Lois without children present. Bermuda was beautiful and I enjoyed the company of many masons. Bermuda has 21 lodges with a population of only 63,000. I visited St. George Lodge No. 200, instituted in 1797 on the Register of the Grand Lodge of Scotland. Most importantly, I would like to thank W. Bro. Brett Kahler for ruling in my stead (Bro. Jarod Leutri) tells me you did an outstanding job.
At our Emergent meeting on Thursday, February 26th, we were to hold a 2nd degree but were unable to as our candidate and some of the brethren with parts were absent but we conducted some education and then retired to the banquet hall for some food and social time.
At our upcoming Regular meeting on Thursday, March 12th, there will be a ballot, pending a favourable report, on our latest applicant and a ballot for affiliation. We also will be conferring a 2nd degree on one of our eligible EAs. The worksheet has been sent out (same as the last one).
At our upcoming emergent meeting on Thursday, March 26th, 2015 we will be conferring the 2nd Degree on one of our eligible EAs. The worksheet has been sent out (same as the last one). This meeting is also step-up night. The officers for step-up will be contacted to enable them to prepare.
Finally, to our sick and shut-in Brethren, our thoughts and prayers are with you, and please do not hesitate to contact me or any officer of the lodge if we can be of any assistance. If you require a drive to lodge, please let us know and we will make arrangements.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Bro. James Leutri
