Message From The East November 2013

Brethren,

Once again, we had another very busy month for Flower City Lodge. At our Regular Meeting, Bro. Edgar Robalino had the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason conferred upon him. Congratulations!

On Wednesday, October 23rd, I traveled with the Toronto West Travelling Gavel to West Gate Lodge as their Official visitors. Thank you to Brother Terry Austin (JW), Bro. Edgar Robalino, Bro. Jarod Leutri, Bro. Ryan Reid (EA) and Bro. Peter McCullough (EA) on attending with me.

At our October 24 Emergent meeting, we welcomed the Filipino Degree Team who then conferred the 3rd Degree on Bro. Tomas Salcedo. Excellent work and an enjoyable evening.

On Friday, October 25th, I traveled again with the Traveling Gavel to the Official Visit of Ibrox Lodge. On Tuesday, November 5th we will be traveling once again to River Park Lodge on their Official Visit.

At our upcoming Regular meeting on Thursday, November 14th, we will be welcoming R.W. Bro. George M. Warner, District Deputy Grand Master, Toronto West District on the occasion of his Official Visit of Flower City Lodge. We will be conferring the 2nd Degree on one of our eligible Entered Apprentices. Also, the Traveling Gavel will be up for challenge by the Lodge with the most members present who have notified V.W. Steve Ellstrom of their intention to challenge. The banquet will be held at 6:30pm and Lodge opened at 7:30pm. Please join us for our Official Visit as it is an excellent opportunity to greet new friends and rekindle old acquaintances as well as supporting our Lodge and District.

At our Emergent Meeting, on Thursday, November 28th, we will have the pleasure of presenting V.W. Bro. Steve Ellstrom with his regalia as Grand Steward. This will be a wonderful evening which family and friends are invited. We will also have our Novemberfest after the presentation in the Lodge room.

I look forward to greeting each of you at our Regular Meeting on November the 14th.

Finally, to our sick and shut-in Brethren, our thoughts and prayers are with you, and please do not hesitate to contact me or any officer of the lodge if we can be of any assistance. If you require a drive to lodge, please let us know and we will make arrangements.

Sincerely and Fraternally,

W.Bro. James Leutri

Worshipful Master
